‘Hindi bhasha Rastriya Ki bhasha…. Prajatantr Ke Shastra Ki Bhasha!’
The Hindi Club “Abhivyakti” was created in the Junior Wing to evoke interest among the students for the Hindi language and to encourage their creativity in speaking, reading and writing in Hindi. Many students from Classes 1 to 3 participated in various Hindi activities under the roof of the Hindi Club in a span of the past two years.
On 9th Sep 2021, the children of Junior Wing presented a Hindi Online programme titled – ‘Goonj’. The objective of the programme was to create awareness through various activities such as storytelling, poem recitation and singing keeping in mind parameters related to SDGs and CBSE Art Integration work scope.
The event began with the students and teachers of Hindi department welcoming our respected Brother Miranda, Mrs. Kaushal and other staff members of the Junior Wing. There was a beautiful presentation by the students highlighting all that they have learnt in their Hindi classes.
Interesting Hindi poem recitations on SDGs and CBSE’s Art Integration project on Sikkim state drew much applause. The audience were in splits as the students presented their acting skills through a hilarious short skit on the famous Mughal Emperor Akbar and his minister Birbal.
At the end of the programme, attention was drawn towards ‘Hindi Diwas’ which is celebrated every year on 14th September. The day marks a special commemoration of the adaptation of Hindi as the official language of the Indian Constituent Assembly. Many Universities, not only in India but also in various other countries, provide courses and research work in the Hindi Language.
The efforts of students as well as the Hindi Department were much appreciated by our Honourable Principal, Brother Miranda, Junior School Headmistress, Mrs. Kaushal, fellow teachers and parents.
