Title : REMINISCING THE VALUES TAUGHT BY MAHATMA GANDHI ( 2021-22 )

Mahatma Gandhi or more lovingly known as Bapu by all Indians is internationally acknowledged for his doctrine of non-violence that led India to its glorious freedom. St. Columba’s School, New Delhi, celebrated Gandhi Jayanti in an online special assembly on 1st October, Friday 2021 to pay homage to the Father of the Nation.

This was an inclusive assembly as the children with special needs of the Middle Section also took part in it very enthusiastically.

The assembly had commemorated the Mahatma’s story of his life and teachings that have impacted humanity to its core. The student-led choir sang Gandhi’s favourite bhajan ‘Vaishnav Janto’ with full exuberance.

Gandhian ideals were depicted through skits which the students presented in the most eloquent manner.  The virtual visit of the National Gandhi Museum was the major highlight of the assembly that was extremely informative.
