This year, the Columban Fest core team organised one of the biggest events hosted by St. Columbas: The Columban Fest 2021.
Uniquely enough, this year’s fest was hosted virtually on discord with an enthralling participation from all the senior-school Columbans - The enthusiastic class XI as well as the industrious class XII students who meticulously tackled both, board practicals and the extra-curriculars to the best of their abilities.
The participants could choose from a wide range of events ranging from solo singing, instrumentals, logo designing to gaming, meme making, art, photography, quiz and much more.

After wrapping up the intra-Fest around 4:00 pm, the Core Team stood ready to conduct the inter-school Columban Fest on Saturday, 9th October. This long-awaited juncture started out strong with the opening ceremony at 8:00am. The compèrers, Soham Kulkarni and Ansh Gupta welcomed the participants and the chief guest Mr. Amit Bansal, who then shared an account of his childhood memories as an alumnus of the school. The Principal, Brother Miranda and Mr. Chopra (Senior School administrator) also gave out their opening address. Subsequently, Shambhava Sood, president of the Columban Fest ‘21, declared the Fest open. After dispersing to their respective events, participants from different schools eagerly engaged in a series of competitions, showcasing their skills in singing, dancing, debating, film-making, conducting business plans, mock-stocks, sports, photography, quizzing, model-making, app-development and gaming. After several hours, the Fest concluded with the closing ceremony, compered by Aditya Sebastian and Surya Garg. The closing video and school anthem were also played. The results, were declared on 11th October.
