The students of class 3 were taken to New Delhi Traffic Park at Baba Kharak Singh Marg on the 11th and 17th August 2017 to make students aware of the various traffic rules. The Traffic Police Sub-Inspector Pushpal Kaur and Assistant Sub Inspector Bharat Kumar guided and discussed road safety rules. Interactive and interesting games were played to teach the children how to follow traffic rules. Honda trained marshals also discussed and elaborated the importance of safety riding gears and correct way of riding a bicycle. A mini bike Honda CRF50 was displayed and a few lucky boys got a chance to ride it.
The student came back enriched with correct road safety information and were elated to get goodies, road safety pamphlets and certificates of participation. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the tour educated them about their own safety while travelling on the road. The programme ended with a workshop for them on the 21st Aug in the Junior School Hall where the safety Rules were highlighted and the significance of Road Signals and mandatory road signs were reinforced. A quiz was conducted at the end of the programme.
