"Hindi language is the language of our nation ... language of theology of democracy"
With this message, the Hindi Elocution Competition for class 2 began with a thoughtful prayer. The boys sang a melodious song glorifying Hindi Language and its widespread usage in our country. The competition centred around Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and his love for children and his country. Various interesting poems were recited beautifully with props. Each poem ended with a chorus song verse to further enhance the essence conveyed by the poem. The young yet confident speakers spoke about patriotism, loyalty and love for the motherland. The poem presentations left the judges- Miss. Sunny and Mrs. Pandey highly impressed. The show culminated with a vote of thanks by Mrs Rupa Dey. Br. James addressed the young columbans and applauded their efforts.
