Handwriting is an essential skill for both children and adults. Handwriting activates brain more than using the keyboard because it involves more complex motor and cognitive skills. Handwriting contributes to fluency in reading by activating visual perception of letters. Handwriting is a predictor of success. The persona of an individual can be crafted well with impressive handwriting skills.
To strengthen the importance of neat, legible handwriting, the second round of online Handwriting contest was conducted on 2nd Nov.,2021 for classes 4-10. Five students from each section, who had been consistent in presenting neat and organised handwriting were shortlisted by their respective teachers. The qualifying students then appeared for the final round where three best handwritings were selected from each class. The winners were applauded for their performance and e-certificates will be given to encourage them.
