The morning of 2nd February 2018, saw the boys of kindergarten suited up and prepped for "Harmony", the Annual Kindergarten Concert. The concert showcased the creative talent of the children through "Dance & Drama", thereby advocating a holistic, creative and intellectual learning.
The show had an auspicious start with the chanting of the "Gayatri Mantra"- A prayer of praise that awakens and liberates the mind, body and soul.
This was followed by a Welcome Dance, wherein the children broke the shackles of orderly conduct and immersed themselves in melodies of music.
A short play titled- "Selfish Giant"-conceptualized to portray the value of kindness was performed exuberantly and with fervor by the little Columbans.
The next play, adapted from the famous "Jungle Book" by Rudyard Kipling was designed to evoke the imagery of true friendship. The children conveyed the message beautifully with their ebullient performance.
Last, but not the least the program ended with the kindergarteners dancing to the tune of "Brazil", keeping the creativity alive and worth remembering. The lively presentations by the children enthralled the parents and guests. The vote of thanks and encouraging words by our revered principal, Br. Miranda further infused the children with enthusiasm.
