The Spellathon Competition was conducted for classes IV-X to inculcate the desire and skill to spell words with precision and confidence as well as to enhance the vocabulary. It comprised of two rounds.
The first round was conducted on 5th July,2017 which was an intraclass round.In this round, the students were asked to spell 25 words. The selected students then advanced to the second round.
The second round was conducted on 25th July in which a total of 380 students appeared. The students were given ten words and they had to complete the missing letters of the given word with the help of meanings given in the brackets so as to form a meaningful word.
Finally, the students getting highest marks were awarded certificates.
The competition was coordinated by the following teachers- Ms Neha Malhotra(IV-V), Ms. Neha Bhalla (VI-VII) and Ms. Monika Khiani (VIII, IX and X).
