The only way to become responsible is by educating ourselves
"Our land is more valuable than your money. It will last forever. It will not even perish by the flames of fire. As long as the sun shines and the waters flow, this land will be here to give life to men and animals." Leonard House conducted various activities from 27th January 2022 onwards for about two weeks, to educate the students about SDG15 Life on land. These included a video presentation by the student team and various competitions for classes 4to 10. Certificates of participation and achievement were awarded. Two webinars on ‘Plastics, a different perspective’ and One about the ‘Auroville project’ were organized. The students gained tremendous knowledge about plastic disposal and sustainable communities like Auroville in Puducherry. The students were also encouraged to plant saplings to encourage them to be a part of our mission to save Planet Earth
