On 3rd of September 2017, we had an Eco club environment walk, along the Yamuna River, where we sensitized the students about the impact of urban development on ecology and interacted with some farmers living there.
Students heard their stories and realized the impact the "concrete jungle" had had on their lives :-
Insecurity about farming land.
Water pollution in Yamuna River.
Air Pollution.
Deterioration of soil and loss of fertility.
We also visited the Gazipur-garbage dumping ground
