CLASSES 4 AND 5 From 27th To 28th Dec, 2017
An educational trip was organized by St. Columba's School for class 4 and 5 on 27th and 28th December to Agra. A total of 24 students with 2 teachers under tour leader Mrs. Sushma Gupta left for Agra on 27th morning. We had our breakfast at koshi and then reached SOS wildlife, Where students got insight and exposure to the world of sloth bears. Then we headed to Agra fort. Agra fort added a great deal to the Students knowledge of historical background and acquainted them better with the rich heritage of India.
Next morning, we visited the world famous Taj Mahal. There was slight fog and the white wonder appeared marvelous. It was the finest example of Mughal architecture that combines elements from Persian, Turkish and Indian architectural styles. The guide explained all minute historic and architectural details. Then we did extensive tour of Agra city and did shopping. The group had loads of fun and enjoyed every bit of tour to Agra. It was a great and memorable trip and I look forward for more such trip in future.
