Without labour, nothing prospers.’ -the helpers have a very significant role to play in the smooth functioning and prosperity of our school.
Labour Day marks a special celebration in the Junior Wing as the students come together to express their love, affection and respect for all the helpers who look after them and care for them throughout their day in school.
This year a special assembly was organised in the junior school hall to honour the dedication of our helpers on the 29th of April, 2022.
The programme started with an opening prayer by Mr P. Alex followed by a beautiful song presentation. A student eloquently narrated the history of Labour Day. The boys of Classes 2 and 3 prepared by Mrs M. Gautam enacted an interesting ‘Nukkad Natak’ followed by a memorable poem recitation dedicated to the helpers and workers. The melodious ‘Thank you’ song for our helpers sung by the choir surely left all in a joyous mood. The slideshow prepared to applaud the relentless efforts of our school helpers touched the strings of our helpers’ hearts and brought smiles to their faces. The students made sure to make the helpers feel special and loved by presenting pretty handmade cards. They also carried the cards home for the helpers who take care of them at home.
Our very own Joseph Bhaiya spoke and expressed his happiness on behalf of all the helpers. The show was strung together by Mrs N Khan who read the concluding prayer. The assembly culminated with our respected Principal, Brother Robert felicitating the helpers with garlands and gifts. He expressed his gratitude towards all the school helpers and applauded the students' efforts in organising this assembly.
The Junior School Headmistress, Mrs Kaushal praised all the helpers for their devotion and dedication. She thanked them for their care and love towards the little boys.
