Title : ASSEMBLY CLASS 2E ( 2022-23 )

On the sunny morning of 25th August 2022, the students of class 2E came together to present a beautifully executed assembly about the importance of trees. The assembly had a melodious start with a hymn - ‘Thank You Lord’. The students, through an interesting skit presentation, highlighted the significance of trees in our lives and urged one and all to plant a sapling each. The colourful display of charts and props added vibrance to the presentation. The boys danced and exercised to the beats of a foot tapping song titled- ‘Roll Your Hands’. The audience were overjoyed and applauded the students.

The boys who wore attractive placards in the shape of trees with slogans, inspired all to come together to save trees. Each teacher was presented an earthen pot with seeds to plant and nurture the same. The pertinent need of implementing the SDGs was beautifully integrated through the assembly presentation.

Our honourable Principal, Brother Robert acknowledged the need to protect trees and urged all teachers to reinforce the message imparted by the assembly. Mrs Kaushal, the Junior School Headmistress appreciated the efforts of the Class Teacher, Miss Vandana Sharma and was glad to see the performance of the students. She requested all the students to show care towards plants and trees.

The assembly was truly a significant reminder for all of us to save TREES-the lungs of our planet.
