On 30th August 2022, the children of the Junior Wing presented a fabulous Hindi programme- Azaadi ke matwale- Story of unsung heroes”. The objective of the programme was to create awareness about the unsung heroes other than the famous freedom fighters, who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence.
Through impressive presentations such as storytelling, poem recitation and singing, the young Columbans stole the hearts of one and all. They evoked patriotic fervour and impressed the audience with their performances.
This programme was a wonderful dedication by our Junior School boys to the 75 glorious years of Indian independence and the nationwide celebrations of – Aazaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The students staged a humorous presentation through a storytelling narrative about the responsibilities of a child. The melodious songs by each section of Class 2 left the audience mesmerised.
The children came up with various poem presentations in Hindi about the unsung heroes and soldiers of our country.
The event was graced by our honourable Principal, Brother Robert Fernandes, Administrator of the Senior School,
Mr Naresh Chopra, Headmistress of the Middle wing, Mrs Aparajita Pal and the Junior Wing Headmistress,
Mrs Ritu Kaushal. The parents were thoroughly enthralled by the magnificent performances of the students and our Principal commended the beautiful presentation of the show. He remarked that Junior School boys are learning to be responsible in their own little ways. Mrs Kaushal was moved by the beautiful presentation and expressed her appreciation for the students.
